Climate and Environment

Climate data in digital messages enhances tracking and collaboration in the construction industry.

Communication of climate data in digital messages in accordance with international standards

To meet tomorrow's requirements for circularity, climate and environmental standards, efficiency, and product selection, the construction industry must enhance packaging, labeling, and product tracking. Incorporating climate data into digital messages will facilitate better collaboration among actors in the value chain on these areas.

The traceability and labeling project, led by Byggstand, focused on digital collaboration across the value chain based on BEAst Supply 4.0. The result is a consensus methodology for labeling products and deliveries both physically and digitally, using QR codes and digital packing slips. As a result, several actors in the construction industry are now implementing this standard.

Hear what Audun Løhre from Gausdal Landhandleri AS has to say about Byggstand.

Gausdal Landhandleri AS is an active participant in Byggstand projects and actively uses the results in their digital tools for their customers and suppliers. Through the project, they have tested all scenarios and aim to be operational with the results by the summer holiday.
